A Day Before Tsinelas Festival

Before heading to Lucban, Quezon, part of our itinerary before seeing the colorful Pahiyas Festival was to drop by first at the Tsinelas Capital of Laguna - Liliw.

It was Tita Marissa's idea (our companion, Abe's aunt) to dropped by here, and of course, since I love to travel, I don't mind stopping by here. It was my first time to see this place and I barely know anything about it, except maybe that they sell good quality and very affordable slippers. Hehe.

Let's Go Sago to Mount Pinatubo!

Last year, after I created this travel blog for my all my travels and R & R, I promised myself to see Mount Pinatubo. But some stuff in my life didn't go so well that I have to postpone and to postpone and to postpone every trip that I wanna do in my life.

But one positive thought keeps lingering in my mind, and that is I will travel with all my might and promises to see the country even on an empty pocket. ^_^  And one destination that I promise myself to see... MOUNT PINATUBO.

Luckily, one trip that is just so perfect for budgeted-travelers like me is about to commence as Let's Go Sago celebrates its second year! Wee!

Congrats, Sago!

The Pahiyas Festival 2011

One of my lifelong dreams is to visit Lucabn, Quezon and witness its' very colorful and vibrant Pahiyas Festival. Thanks to my blogger-friends Abe, Cathie, Flow and Ohmski for tagging me along to enjoy an overnight stay at this small but very happy city.

Pahiyas Festival is celebrated every 15th of May to give thanks to their patron saint San Isidro. And that week I and my friends drove down there to fee, see and taste this wonderful festivity.

The Night before Pahiyas....

It is so nice to see beautiful things - wonderful, colorful and unbelievable stuff that were created out mere imagination. But what excites me more in seeing these beautiful things are the time they are being made right in front of my eyes. And that's what I experienced the night before the Pahiyas Festival.

Since I learned about kiping, I can't help but to dream to be in Lucban, Quezon to witness its very delightful and colorful Pahiyas Festival. Thank God that I have friends like Abe, Cathie, Flow and Ohmski who tagged me along to see this year's Pahiyas.

After an almost 5-hour drive from Manila, we reached Lucban at around 6 o'clock in the evening. The traffic that we are expecting welcomed us as we reached the town center. There were a lot of people walking and enjoying the bazaars that were put up right in the middle of the streets.

Manila's Sandbar

If you think you've seen the best of Manila, well, wait til you see Manila's new pride - The Sandbar.

A place that will give you an easy-breezy feel, Sandbar Seafood and Grill is a new hangout place here in Manila located at the entrance of Manila Ocean Park. It is the sister gimmick place of Liquid Pool and Lounge, which is currently a hot spot in this area for special occasions, company events or just weekend stress-free day with the whole family.
